Ever since Jaya Bachchan tied the knot with Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, she almost said goodbye to the cinema except a few appearances that she made in a series of films released from time to time.
In short, the film career of Jaya Bachchan almost came to an end after marriage. Another reason why she chose to switch back her attention was to pay attention to her family, especially her kids. Well, he's a big name in Marathi cinema as he has given more than 50 films with different stars. And now, Ahire looks keen to direct Jaya for his upcoming film. Some of the memorable films of Gajendra Ahire include The Silence, Anumati and Shevri (to name a few). All these films created explosion at the box office after they performed remarkably well. As per the latest Bollywood news, Ahire is expected to direct Jaya Bachchan in the month of March that will take only 20 days to get completed. Talking about some of the impressive films that featured Jaya Bachchan includes Silsila (1981) and Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa (1998). After that she gave so many appearances in some other films like Karan Johar's Kal Ho Na Ho and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The last film of Jaya Bachchan was Sunglass (2012). Although, she was paired opposite Naseeruddin Shah in this film but it was never released due to some technical reasons. These days, Jaya Bachchan is busy in her political life. The actress also came into the limelight after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR). It all happened when the drug angle of Bollywood came to the limelight. In this connection several Bollywood stars were summoned by NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) and some of them were even arrested. At this time, Jaya expected those connected with the film industry directly or indirectly to stay calm and never propagate false rumors about the industry that has given so much to them in their film career. This is when a section of the society even criticized the former actress for hiding the truth of the industry. With that in mind, the veteran actress is trying to live her passion of acting once again by switching to Marathi Cinema. We don't know what's in store for her as she has not disclosed if she's inclined to undergo any more assignments except performing in this Gajendra Ahire's upcoming film.
